  • How do I get started?

    Simply Sign Up at https://worbuzz.com to create your free User account to kick start a long, adventurous, and exciting journey with us.  Our system automatically send your Registration Confirmation email to your email address.  You will need to activate your account by clicking VERIFY EMAIL button in that email.

  • Who is a member?

    Everyone who sets up a genuine user account on our website is a member.  This excludes without limitation any account created using User Agents, Spambots, and other unconventional means.  A genuine user will be construed to mean a human being aged 18+ who is mentally sound, who had provided their given real names, date of birth, and gender as written in their Certificate of birth or other official documents such as Passport and National Identity card at the time of registration. Qualification as a member should also satisfy further requirements such as uploading a good profile photo which is a true resemblance of them and all the information that they have provided on their Profile is a true reflection of whom they claim they are.  And that they have good intentions of using our site for legal and acceptable use.

  • I’ve forgotten my login details. How do I find them?

    Simply click on the “Lost Password” link, complete the short form and we’ll email you a reminder of your username and a link that allows you to reset your password. If you still have a problem, please contact us.

  • How do I use the new Sidebar Menu?

    Accessing our website on your smartphone is now easier than ever with the deployment of the new Sidebar Menu.  Click on the hamburger icon (otherwise called Ellipsis) to open the Sidebar Menu for you.  Then click the Menu that you want.  You can also access the Sidebar Menu simply by swiping right or close it by swiping left.  You can also close it by touching anywhere outside the Sidebar Menu.

  • Can I change my password?

    Yes. Go to the MY ACCOUNT, click EDITPROFILE, scroll down to the bottom of the page, there you will see the short form to enable you to update your password.

  • Can I change my Username?

    No, it’s not being possible to change a Username once registered.

  • Can I hide my profile from public view?

    Yes.  Go to MY ACCOUNT, Click SETTINGS, scroll down to the bottom of the page, there you will see the feature to set your profile privacy to Private.  You can change this setting vice-versa.

  • Does my DOB, Email, and Telephone get seen by others?

    No.  No other members can see these confidential data.  Here at Worbuzz, we respect your privacy.  It’s only you that is able to see your DOB, Email, and Telephone number (where added).

 

  • Can I hide my presence on Chat?

    Absolutely yes.  You can control who sees you and whom you chat with, simply by clicking on the wheel icon beside the Chat window, you can set your status to Invisible.

  • How do I delete my profile?

    Go to MY ACCOUNT, click SETTINGS, and then scroll to the bottom of the page, there you will see the ‘DELETE PROFILE’ tab.  Please note that this process cannot be reversed once done.  Please be aware that due to the nature of the internet, some of the posts, comments, images that you have shared may still be visible elsewhere on the site and on the internet long after you have closed your account.  Please also be aware that we may keep some of your data for a minimum period in accordance with applicable Data Protection Act 1998.

  • How do I add a photo to my profile?

    Go to My Account >> Edit Profile >> Change Profile Image and follow the guidelines for uploading photos.  To change Cover Photo, click on the camera icon found on the top right corner of the Cover Photo.  To add photos and videos to your Gallery, simply click the Gallery tab and follow the instructions.

  • Why did my photo disappear from my profile?

    Your photo may be deleted if it does not comply with our technical requirements, is obscene or is a picture of a celebrity or other copyrighted material such as cartoon pictures.  If this happened to you, all you need to do is to upload a genuine, full-face, colour photo.  Please be warned that if you consistently uploaded unacceptable photos and we had to remove them, we will be left with no alternative other than to delete your account on the ground of breach of our Terms of Use.

  • Why did my Chatroom gone idle?

    User-created Chatrooms will gone idle if there has not been any activities on them for a period of Seven days or longer.  If your chatroom has yellow background and inaccessible, it means it is inactive.  This measure is to keep our databases clean of any disused and unwanted data.  Currently, we are unable to restore such chatrooms if this was the case.

  • How do I search for new friends?

    For a quick and simple search, head to SEARCH page, specify your requirements in the SHOW ME Search form and click ‘Search’.  For more advanced search option, click on Extended Search button.

  • GROUPS: Group Membership and Management.

    Groups membership can be Public, Private, or Hidden.  Some Group memberships can be by Invitation or request to join.  Any member can create a Group.  A member who create a Group by default will be the Admin of that Group.  The Admin can appoint more Admins and/or Moderators to help manage the Group.  To manage the Group, go to the Group’s page, there you can see the invite-group button and edit-group button; click the edit-group button to Appoint Group Admin/Moderators options, etc.

  • Events

    Any member can create or search for events near them.  To get started, click on Events tab.

  • What is UserCredits?

    UserCredits are our site virtual currency which Users can use to buy some premium services such as SPOTLIGHT, RISE UP, VIRTUAL GIFTS, etc.  Currently, £1 buys 100 UserCredits.  A User can also transfer some of his/her UserCredits to another User if he/she so wishes.  Users can also earn free UserCredits from playing our Mystery Box game which can be found here.  Users can also earn free UserCredits from sending invitation to their email contacts, Facebook friends, or Twitter followers which can be found here.

  • What is Freedom Pass?

    FREEDOM PASS is our site subscription package which gives Subscribers access to features such as Unlimited Virtual Gifts, see who visits their profiles, browse other Users’ profiles invisibly, see if their messages has been read, as well as getting a Freedom Pass key on their Profile.

  • How can I earn free User Credits?

    You can earn free UserCredits which you can use to pay for some of our premium services by playing Mystery Box game or by inviting your Facebook friends and email contacts.  Please see below for more information.

  • How do I play Mystery Box game?

    Simply click on Games >> Mystery Box.  Hit the “Play Now” button.  Playing this game is just a great way to earn Achievements and Badges to boost your popularity.  You may also earn FREE UserCredits which you can use for stuffs like SPOTLIGHT, RISE UP, VIRTUAL GIFTS, and other premium services.

  • How do I invite my friends?

    Great!  To invite your friends from other social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, etc. or even your email contacts; simply click on the INVITE tab and follow the guideline.  As a thank you, we will also reward you 500 UserCredits for doing this.

  • How do I control who sees my posts on my profile?

    We’ve made this simple for you, each post that you make on our site has an individual privacy button attached to it.  This gives you the full control in setting privacy for your posts and determined who sees what you post.

  • What is Flag button?  How to use it?

    You will usually find the Flag button on the buttons tray on many pages where you can post comments.  Such pages include Activity, Jokes, Groups, etc.  Flag button is used to report inappropriate comments, posts, images, etc. by other members.  Our User Experience Team are always on hand to moderate such reports.  Unfortunately, some members regularly mistaken this button for the Like button and misuse it instead.  If you’ve been sent a warning for inappropriate post when you haven’t done this, chances are someone just misused the Flag button.  You do not need to do anything in this case, simply ignore the email.
